The North Georgia College & State University, sometimes known as the Military College of Georgia, and more generally as simply North Georgia, Saints compete as members of the Peach Belt Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. North Georgia is a public military institution located in Dahlonega, Georgia, about an hour northeast of Atlanta. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,000.
