The Louisiana State University at Alexandria Generals compete as members of the Red River Athletic Conference in NAIA Division I basketball. The school does not sponsor football. LSU-Alexandria is a public institution located in Alexandria, Louisiana, about two hours northwest of the capital city of Baton Rouge. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
