The Lemoyne-Owen College Magicians compete as members of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Lemoyne-Owen, a historically black college, is a private Baptist institution located in Memphis, Tennessee. The school received its current name when Lemoyne College merged with Owen Junior College, thus Lemoyne's records are retained. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
