The Lane College Dragons compete as members of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in NCAA Division II football and basketball. Lane, a historically black college, is a private Methodist institution located in Jackson, Tennessee, about 45 minutes east of Memphis. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
