The Barton College Bulldogs compete as members of the Conference Carolinas in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Barton is a private Disciples of Christ institution located in Wilson, North Carolina, about an hour southeast of Raleigh. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
