The King College Tornado compete as independents in NCAA Division II basketball. In 2011, the school will join Conference Carolinas. The school does not sponsor football. King is a private Presbyterian institution located in Bristol, Tennessee, about two hours northeast of Knoxville. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
