The Langston University Lions compete in NAIA Division I as members of the Red River Athletic Conference in basketball, and in NAIA football as members of the Central States Football League. Langston, a historically black college, is a public institution located in Langston, Oklahoma, about 45 minutes northeast of Oklahoma City. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,000.
