Saint Benedict

The College of Saint Benedict Blazers compete as members of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. As a women's college, the school does not sponsor football or men's basketball. Saint Benedict is a private Catholic (Benedictine) women's-only institution located in Saint Joseph, Minnesota, about 90 minutes northwest of Minneapolis. The school is in partnership with the men's-only Saint John's University, located seven miles away in Collegeville, Minnesota. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
The Saint Benedict campus, like that of Saint John's, is rural in nature with only a few roads providing access to the campus, including Stearns CR 75,which is served by Exit 160 of Interstate 94.
Being a women's-only college, the Blazers enjoy a healthy rivalry with fellow women's-only school Saint Catherine. It is similar to the rivalry its sister school Saint John's has with Saint Thomas (MN).
Since it is a women's-only school, the Blazers do not have NFL nor NBA player on its alumni list.
