The Western Washington University Vikings compete as members of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference in NCAA Division II football and basketball. Western Washington is a public institution located in Bellingham, Washington, about 20 minutes south of the Canadian border crossing to Vancouver. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 12,000.
