The Augusta State University Jaguars compete as members of the Peach Belt Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Augusta State is a public institution located in Augusta, Georgia, about two and a half hours east of Atlanta. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 6,000.
