The Rowan University Profs compete as members of the New Jersey Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III football and basketball. Rowan, formerly "Glassboro State", is a public institution located in Glassboro, New Jersey, about 20 minutes south of Philadelphia. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 8,000.
