The Hamline College Pipers compete as members of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III football and basketball. Hamline is a private Methodist institution located in the capital city of Saint Paul, Minnesota. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
The campus is located on Snelling Avenue, about a mile south of the Minnesota State Fairgrounds and and mile north of University Avenue. Both the university and nearby Hamline Avenue are named for a methodist bishop. The closest interstate exit is Exit 238 off of Interstate 94. Robert and Alexandra Klas Center (2,000) is on the north end of the campus, bordered by Pierce Butler Road. Hutton Arena(2,000) is to the stadium's south, fronting Snelling Avenue.
