The Norwich University Cadets compete in NCAA Division III as members of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference in basketball, and as members of the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference in football. Norwich is a private military institution located in Northfield, Vermont, about 15 minutes south of Montpelier. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
