The Husson College Eagles compete in NCAA Division III as members of the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference for football, and the North Atlantic Conference for basketball. Husson is a private non-sectarian institution located in Bangor, Maine, about two hours northeast of Portland. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
