The Green Mountain College Eagles compete as members of the North Atlantic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Green Mountain is a private Methodist institution located in Poultney, Vermont, on the New York border about an hour north of Albany. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
