The Simmons College Sharks compete as members of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. As a women's college, the school does not sponsor football. Simmons is a private non-sectarian women's institution located in the Fenway neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
