The Berea College Mountaineers compete as independents in NCAA Division III basketball. The school has not sponsored football since 1904. Berea is a private non-sectarian institution located in Berea, Kentucky, about 45 minutes south of Lexington. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
