The Arcadia University Knights compete as members of the Middle Atlantic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Arcadia, formerly "Beaver College", is a private Methodist institution located in Glenside, Pennsylvania, about 10 minutes north of Philadelphia. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,000.
