The Saint Paul's College Tigers closed their athletic program in 2011 due to a money shortage, though the school remains open. The Tigers were members of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association in NCAA Division II play at the time the program was shuttered. Saint Paul's, a historically black college, is a private Episcopal institution located in Lawrenceville, Virginia, about an hour south of Richmond. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
