The Castleton State College Spartans compete in NCAA Division III as members of the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference for football, and the North Atlantic Conference for basketball. Castleton State is a public institution located in Castleton, Vermont, about 45 minutes south of Burlington. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
