The Husson College Eagles compete in NCAA Division III basketball as members of the North Atlantic Conference and in football as independents. The school's basketball teams will move to the New England Collegiate Conference as charter members in 2008. Husson is a private non-sectarian institution located in Bangor, Maine, about two hours northeast of Portland. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
