The Virginia Union University Panthers compete as members of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association in NCAA Division II football and basketball. Virginia Union, a historically black college, is a private Baptist institution located in the capital city of Richmond, Virginia. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
