The Gallaudet University Bison compete in NCAA Division III as members of the North Atlantic Conference for football, and the North Eastern Athletic Conference for basketball. Gallaudet is a federal school devoted to the deaf and hard-of-hearing located in the Mount Olivet neighborhood of Washington, DC. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
