The State University of New York Institute of Technology, also known as SUNYIT or SUNY Tech, Wildcats compete as members of the North Eastern Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. SUNY Tech is a public institution located in Marcy, New York, just outside Utica about an hour east of Syracuse. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
