The Quincy University Hawks compete as members of the Mid-States Football Association in NAIA football, and as members of the Great Lakes Valley Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. Quincy is a private Catholic (Franciscan) institution located in Quincy, Illinois, on the Mississippi River about two hours north of Saint Louis. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
