The Maryville University Saints compete as members of the Great Lakes Valley Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Maryville is a private non-sectarian institution located near Chesterfield but technically in the western reaches of Saint Louis, Missouri. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
