The Saint Xavier University Cougars compete in NAIA Division II as members of the Mid-States Football Association in basketball, and in NAIA football as members of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Saint Xavier is a private Catholic (Sisters of Mercy) institution located in Chicago, Illinois. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
