The Illinois Institute of Technology Scarlet Hawks ceased competing in basketball following the 2009 season. The school remains a member of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference in several sports. The school does not sponsor football. Illinois Tech is a private non-sectarian institution located in Chicago, Illinois. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
