The Skidmore College Thoroughbreds compete as members of the Liberty League in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Skidmore is a private non-sectarian institution located in Saratoga Springs, New York, about a half-hour north of Albany. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
