The Saint Leo University Lions compete as members of the Sunshine State Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Saint Leo is a private Catholic (Holy Names) institution located in Saint Leo, Florida, about a half-hour north of Tampa. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
