The Saint Gregory's University Cavaliers compete as members of the Sooner Athletic Conference in NAIA Division I basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Saint Gregory's is a private Catholic (Benedictine) institution located in Shawnee, Oklahoma, about a half-hour east of Oklahoma City. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
