The Columbia College Fighting Koalas compete as members of the Appalachian Athletic Conference in NAIA Division II basketball. As a women's college, the school does not sponsor football or men's basketball. Columbia is a private women-only Methodist institution located in the capital city of Columbia, South Carolina. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
