The State University of New York at Canton Kangaroos compete as members of the NCAA Division III Independents in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Canton State is a public institution located in Canton, New York, about two and a half hours north of Syracuse. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
