The Covenant College Scots compete as members of the Appalachian Athletic Conference in NAIA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Covenant is a private Presbyterian institution formerly based in Pasadena, California, but located since 1965 in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, about ten minutes southwest of Chattanooga, Tennessee. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
