The State University of New York at Geneseo, or Geneseo State, Blue Knights compete as members of the State University of New York Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Geneseo State is a public institution located in Geneseo, New York, about a half-hour south of Rochester. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 5,000.
