The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, or UMass-Dartmouth, Corsairs compete in NCAA Division III as members of the Little East Conference in basketball and as members of the New England Football Conference in football. UMass-Dartmouth, formerly "Southeastern Massachusetts University" and formed by a merger of "New Bedford Institute" and "Bradford-Durfee Tech", is a public institution located in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, just outside of New Bedford. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 7,000.
