The Norwich University Cadets compete in NCAA Division III as members of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference in basketball, and as members of the Empire 8 Conference in football. Norwich is a private military institution located in Northfield, Vermont, about 15 minutes south of Montpelier. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
