The McKendree University Bearcats compete as members of the Great Lakes Valley Conference in NCAA Division II football and basketball. McKendree is a private Methodist institution located in Lebanon, Illinois, about 20 minutes east of Saint Louis. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
