The Rockhurst University Hawks compete as members of the Great Lakes Valley Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Rockhust is a private Catholic (Jesuit) institution located south of the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
