The Elms College Blazers compete as members of the North Atlantic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. The school's teams will move to the New England Collegiate Conference as charter members in 2008. Elms is a private Catholic (Saint Joseph) institution located in Chicopee, Massachusetts, immediately north of Springfield. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
