The Gallaudet University Bison compete in NCAA Division III basketball as members of the Capital Athletic Conference, and in football as independents. Gallaudet is a federal school devoted to the deaf and hard-of-hearing located in the Mount Olivet neighborhood of Washington, DC. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
