The Southwest Baptist University Bearcats compete as members of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association in NCAA Division II football and basketball. Southwest Baptist is a private Baptist institution located in Bolivar, Missouri, about 20 minutes north of Springfield. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,000.
