The Midland Lutheran College Warriors compete as members of the Great Plains Athletic Conference in NAIA football and NAIA Division II basketball. Midland Lutheran is a private Lutheran institution formerly based in Atchison, Kansas, and located since 1919 in Fremont, Nebraska, about an hour northwest of Omaha. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
