The University of Virginia at Wise Cavaliers compete as members of the Mountain East Conference in NCAA Division II football and basketball. Virginia-Wise, formerly "Clinch Valley College", is a public institution located in Wise, Virginia, about two and a half hours north of Knoxville, Tennessee. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
