The Saint Thomas University Bobcats compete as independents in NCAA Division II basketball. They also compete as members of The Sun Conference in NAIA Division II. The school does not sponsor football. Saint Thomas, formerly "Biscayne College", is a private Catholic institution located in the Miami suburb of Miami Gardens, Florida. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
