The Colorado State University-Pueblo Thunderwolves compete as members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in NCAA Division II football and basketball. The school dropped football in 1985, but voted to reinstate the program effective in 2008. Colorado State-Pueblo, formerly the "University of Southern Colorado", is a public institution located in Pueblo, Colorado, about two hours south of Denver. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,000.
