The Hobart College Statesmen compete as members of the Liberty League in NCAA Division III football and basketball. The school is a men-only institution, thus does not sponsor women's basketball. Hobart is a private Episcopal institution located in Geneva, New York, about an hour west of Syracuse. The school is the male half of the Colleges of the Seneca in partnership with William Smith College The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
