The Clarkson University Golden Knights compete as members of the Liberty League in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Clarkson is a private non-sectarian institution located in Potsdam, New York, about three hours northeast of Syracuse, and 90 minutes southeast of Ottawa, Ontario. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
