The Southwestern Christian University Eagles compete as members of the Sooner Athletic Conference in NAIA Division I basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Southwestern Christian, formerly known as "Southwestern Bible", is a private Pentecostal institution located in Bethany, Oklahoma, a western suburb of Oklahoma City. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1000.
