The Mount Marty College Lancers compete as members of the Great Plains Athletic Conference in NAIA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Mount Marty is a private Catholic (Benedictine) institution located in Yankton, South Dakota, about 90 minutes southwest of Sioux Falls. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
